Community Habitation services maximize skills development

Helping individuals with disabilities acquire and maintain skills in the community is the goal of UCP of Long Island Community Habitation services.

Community Habilitation currently serves 30 to 35 individuals. Services are one-on-one and can be delivered at any non-certified location, including the individual’s home. Supports include adaptive skill development, relationship building, development of social skills and self-advocacy
