In view of the current developments in building an EV ecosystem in India, and to answer some of these critical questions, the Centre for Auto Policy & Research (CAPR), along with Mobility Outlook proposes to organise a discussion on "Re-Assessing India's Focus on Building an Appropriate EV Ecosystem", as part of the series titled, Dialogues on Multi-Fuel Mobility (DoMFM).

Are Electric Vehicles the most appropriate replacement for fossil-fuels?

Can the country truly be 'Atmanirbhar' from an electric mobility perspective, considering some of the most critical parts and systems continue to be imported?

Is India's EV focus appropriate and enough to meet the climate change targets?

Is India's policy for electric mobility holistic enough to address all concerns related to power generation, raw material sourcing, energy storage, battery recycling and disposal?

India has created a strong base and has become a dependable destination for auto components. Is there an opportunity for the country to replicate the success in the EV ecosystem?
