About This Location
UPMC Northwest in Seneca, Cranberry Township, has 96 private rooms, including 30 that can be converted for semiprivate occupancy, yielding as many as 126 beds. A one story, 28 bed behavioral health building, part of the UPMC Behavioral Health Network, adjoins the hospital via an enclosed walkway. A nine bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and a 16 bed transitional care unit are also located adjacent to the hospital.

Position Responsibilities
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Position Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
