Position Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced CRNA to join our dedicated, patient focused care team. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday with no call, nights or weekends. You will provide anesthesia care for a broad range of specialties including (but not limited to): Ophthalmology , G.I., Orthopaedics, Urology, Podiatry, Gen Surg and Pediatric ENT. Experience in these areas is preferred. Must have solid experience as a practicing CRNA, strong skills and be comfortable with occasional medical supervision of cases. Spanish speaking a plus

Pre-anesthesia assessment

  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Position Requirements

  • Holds a current license as a registered professional nurse and complies with any applicable state statutory or requirements concerning the advanced practice of nursing
  • Graduation from a program of nurse anesthesia education accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor
  • Complies with one of the following requirements regarding certification; or initial certification or recertification:
  • Meets requirements above and is awaiting on initial certification; or
  • Is currently certified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or it predecessor; or
  • Is currently recertified by the AANA Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetist
