I have never used Zoom before; how do I start?
We have sent email communications about downloading and logging into your Zoom. Additionally, NAPA’s Help Desk is ready to help you with this process. Please call 516-945-3178. You can also use the communications from the IT Portal to answer all your Zoom questions. You can access the IT Portal here: https://share.napaanesthesia.com/sites/Zoom/SitePages/Home.aspx.
To log in use your NAPA email address and password.
Can my computer or mobile device access the virtual conference?
You can access both the website and the Zoom via your desktop or mobile device. We recommend accessing from your computer to get the best experience. We are also recommending having Zoom installed on your computer before January 21.
How can I be sure that my computer will be compatible to watch the streamed sessions?
Please test your Zoom prior to the beginning of the conference on January 21. You can test by joining this page. If you are able to join the meeting you are all ready for Saturday! If not, you can find all of resources you need for downloading Zoom and logging in:

All you need to attend is your computer, internet connection, and the Zoom application installed on your desktop. You can also access via your mobile device, but we highly recommend using your desktop computer.
How can I access the Zoom sessions?
To join the Zoom, you simply click on the title of the session you’d like to attend from the “Agenda” tab. After clicking, a new window will open asking you to launch Zoom. Click the “Open Zoom Meetings” button and you will be entered into the Zoom session. If you are early or running late to the session, you might be put in the waiting room. Sit tight, you will be admitted shortly.
What if I can’t make it and need to cancel?
If you are no longer able to attend this year’s CLS, please edit your registration. You can do this by going into the confirmation email sent to you after registering, scroll to the bottom, and click “Click here to modify your registration.” If you need additional assistance, please reach out to James Walsh at JMWalsh@NAPAanesthesia.com.
What time zone are the streamed sessions shown in?
All times listed for the CLS are in Eastern Time Zone.
Whom do I contact for technical help if I continue to have access problems?

Will all the sessions take place online?
Yes, all sessions will be live and accessible on Zoom.
Will recordings be available?
Yes, you will be able to rewatch the presentations after the weekend has concluded.
